Lyno Rigel – Poison feat. Camil Kanouni

« I was in the studio with Camil Kanouni, producer and musician, when he made me listen to a part of the instrumental. I’ve been immediately inspired by the atmosphere of the sound. I wrote a verse, a pre-chorus and then a chorus.
The song deals with toxic relationships which we can all face at some point in our life. The thing which is scheming and changes from all we’re used to seeing is that I’m embodying the toxic person instead of the one who’s suffering from the toxicity. Through « Poison » we can become aware of the breadth of toxicity humans can give and then notice its effects on another one. Therefore, the poison is a nod to the toxicity, which the partner is consuming during a relationship. We could almost hate the toxic person, until we discover his
sensitivity and weakness.
The music and the lyrics are almost becoming arrogant. I found it interesting to play with this and bring a bit of originality. »

Lyno Rigel – author, interpreter and producer – is embodying the diversity. Due to his multiple influences, especially Elvis Presley and Ed Sheeran, his first EP « Lost Atom » traduce this diversity through the eclecticism of his musical pieces. From his title of interpreter, he has composed and produced all of his songs by himself.
« Formerly, I was often alone, as well to compose as to produce, certainly by ego but also by fear to lose myself in music genders which didn’t look like my own. Then I realized that opening myself and working with others really stimulated myself. It was the case with Camil Kanouni, the producer of Poison. It helped me to share my passion and to discover other sides of music which marked an evolution in my way to create and come up with music.
Otherwise, it seems obvious that all of my compositions are inspired by my relationships and my experiences in a large way. Life is inspiring, and that’s through music that I’m translating my emotions. »
